The Keynote Speaker for Plenary Session of the Spring 1998 ICC Meeting will be John N. Brooks.
Mr. Brooks is the President/Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto Hydro-Electric Commission. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where he received his Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Business Administration Degrees. He was appointed to the position of General Manager of Toronto Hydro in 1992.
Mr. Brooks is a member of the Board of the Municipal Electric Associastion and of the Canadian Electricity Association and is involved with a number of other utility related committees.
Prior to being appointed General Manager, Mr. Brooks was the Director of Engineering Operations at Toronto Hydro. He joined the utility in 1973 and has worked in a number of management positions.
