IEEE Fellow - Ralph Samm

Ralph Samm is the Manager Distribution Systems Target of the Distribution Business Unit in the Power Delivery Group at the Electric Power Research Institute in Palo Alto, California. He received a BS degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1957 and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1969. He is a past chairman of the IEEE, ICC Transnational Subcommittee 13, has served as the Chairman of the IEEE Superconductivity Committee and as Chairman of the Editorial Board of the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity. In addition he has written and co-authored many papers and has three US patents.
