The Fall, 1996 Awards Recognition Luncheon was held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. November 5th on the boardwalk of the Don CeSar. The formal program was opened by Dr. Mashikian, the ICC Chairman. Dr. Mashikian gave a special recognition to those visitors who had traveled from overseas to attend the meeting. He asked the overseas attendees in attendance to stand and be recognized. Next, he asked all the first time attendees to stand and be recognized.
Dr. Mashikian then thanked Mr. Watkins and his wife Sheena for their efforts in preparing the straw hats given to all Awards Luncheon attendees. The hats were provided as a sun shield and to commemorate the fact that this was the 100th meeting of the ICC.
Dr. Mashikian then turned the meeting over to Mr. Voltz who, after demonstrating the many ways in which the straw hats could be worn, presented awards to the following individuals:
