Welcome to the IEEE Insulated Conductors Committee (ICC) web site. This web site provides information on the ICC organization, activities and responsibilities and our meetings, including meeting registration.
The ICC, one of the committees of the IEEE Power & Energy Society, is focused on developing and servicing IEEE technical guides, recommended practices and standards for the design, manufacturer, testing, operation and maintenance of insulated cables including high voltage transmission and distribution cables usually associated with utility power systems, commercial and industrial wire, and their related accessories and subsystems. We hold meetings twice a year at locations throughout North America where we develop and service the standards as well as hold informative technical sessions that include presentations by industry experts. The following video provides a high-level overview.
The links on this page provide information about the general organization and operation of the ICC. We hope you will explore these pages and look forward to having you participate in our meetings and activities. Should you have any questions about ICC, please reach out to the ICC chairperson.
