Fall 2020 PES-ICC Meeting – Cancelled
Bonita Springs, FL, October 25-28, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.

Meeting Update September 17, 2020
Coming Soon
Hello; As I am sure you are aware, the COVID-19 global pandemic has
continued to affect various meetings and events. The Spring 2020
meeting was cancelled due to COVID-19, and we again have to make the
difficult choice to cancel the Fall 2020 meeting due to the ongoing
pandemic. Our meeting had been scheduled for Bonita Springs, Florida,
but the Florida Department of Health has advised community organizers
against holding events with groups larger than ten (10) people. For the
safety of our group, this is the best path forward.
Hopefully,
COVID-19 will have subsided so that we can hold our next (147th)
meeting in Denver 18-21 April 2021. Our current plan is to return to
Bonita Springs, Florida for the Fall 2021 meeting (tentatively 24-27
October 2021).
Despite not having an in-person meeting, working
groups are encouraged to keep meeting (web, teleconference, etc) and
making progress on standards development, especially with respect to
standards with expiring PARs.
Interest in an Online Session?
In the near future, we will distribute a survey to evaluate if there
is interest in holding an online session this fall where presentations
can be given, either “live” or as prerecorded sessions.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during these difficult times and hope that you are remaining safe and healthy.
Best regards,
