Meeting Update March 20, 2020
The safety and the well-being of our members and guests are of the utmost importance to the Insulated Conductors Committee. We regret to inform you that we are cancelling the Spring 2020 IEEE PES Insulated Conductors Committee Meeting.
This has been an unprecedented situation for the ICC. The decision was not an easy one, which was made in part, because of the new guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the Corona Virus (COVID-19) situation and the travel restrictions imposed by the employers of our members and guests.
For those of you who made hotel reservations at the WESTIN MISSION HILLS GOLF RESORT & SPA in Rancho Mirage, CA, you should cancel your reservation either by using the Westin Hotel Link below or calling the hotel at 1-760-328-5955. There shouldn’t be any cancellation penalties.
When using the Westin Hotel Link, select Modify Existing Reservation, enter your Last Name and Reservation Number, and follow the prompts. After you cancel your reservation you will get a confirmation that your reservations has been cancelled.

We encourage all the Working Groups, working on a PAR, to hold WEBEX/Online meetings between now and October so the standard development process doesn’t get delayed.
We will post the agenda for these online meetings on the ICC website in order to allow you to participate in these meetings. We also recommend you to stay in contact with the officers of the working groups of interest to you.
We hope to see you all in good health at our Fall 2020 ICC Meeting on October 25-28, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa, 5001 Coconut Road, Bonita Springs, Florida, United States, 34134. The Hotel is located 15.8 miles (25.3 km) from the Ft. Myers Southwest Regional Airport (RSW) and 10 miles (16 km) north of Naples, Florida.
