We need help to run the registration desk during the meeting. The departments in Florida Power that used to provide assistance have moved to Orlando, and are no longer available.
The registration desk will be open Sunday afternoon, and Monday and Tuesday mornings. It is not scheduled to be open Wednesday, but if we get volunteers to be there, it would be worth it to open. We need help during all of that time, but are ovbiously not asking for anyone to be there the whole time (unless they want to). We would be greatful for whatever time we can get. Our real needs are 2:00-4:00 on Sunday and 7:30-9:00 Monday morning.
We need two types of persons, those with general keyboard and computer skills, and those without such skills. The computer registration program we use is all point and click and fill in the blank. We can have someone who has used a computer before competent on it in about 5 minutes. For those with no keyboard skills, we have other jobs that need to be done also. I will be close by to provide guidance as needed. We are not restricting this to members only. All spouses and guests are also invited to participate. Actually, it is interesting, and you certainly get to meet a lot of people from the back side of the desk.
