Re: 50th Anniversary Meeting
The IEEE/PES Insulated Conductors Committee will be holding its 102nd meeting on November 2 - 5, 1997. Vendor participation has always been encouraged and welcomed at our meetings.
In addition to a full technical program of working group and sub-committee meetings, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our organization. We would like to invite you to help us do so.
At the Open Forum on Monday afternoon, we have invited special guests from IEEE and CIGRE to mark the occasion. Dr. Lowell Catlett of New Mexico State University will be the keynote speaker. He will discuss the future of technology in a changing and increasingly global business environment
In addition to our normal welcoming reception for members and guests on Sunday, we will hold a special Anniversary Dinner, followed by entertainment on Tuesday evening. A supplementary registration fee will be charged for those who attend this event.
In order to help defray the expenses of this special meeting, the Insulated Conductors Committee seeks your support for our 50th Anniversary Celebration. The various sponsorship opportunities available to you are outlined on the attached schedule. Of course, all sponsors will receive special recognition for your support.
