Spouse/Guest Breakfast – As always, if your spouse or guest would like to be included in the daily breakfasts from 7:30 – 9:00 AM, please be sure to register them by selecting “Companion Registration” during the registration process.  (The cost is $50 and includes breakfast on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.)

Spouse/Guest Program – Thanks to Anne Tingley’s efforts, Power Engineers has agreed to cover the cost of a spouse/guest program for the Fall 2010 meeting!

The program is planned for Monday morning, October 18, as follows:

9:15 to 10:45 AM:  Learn to draw mountains with watercolor pencils.  Each person will have a picture worthy of framing when finished.  The program will start with some fun, learning-to-draw tricks and go on from there.  All supplies will be free and available for each person to take home to continue their art careers.

11:00 AM to Noon:  Tanya Griffith on Stage!  Tanya is a one-woman show and has performed all over the world.  She is a Canton, OH-based actress who brings the characters of approximately 15 historical figures to life.  Some of her characters include Mary Todd Lincoln, The Queen Mother, Eleanor Roosevelt, Annie Oakley, Amelia Earhart, and Erma Bombeck, who was a cousin of Tanya’s.  We do not know which persona she will take on that day, but we’re sure you will get a lot of enjoyment from her presentation!

If your spouse or guest is interested in participating in this program, please send an email to the ICC Vice Chair, John Smith (jsmithiii@generalcable.com), so we know how many people to expect.

Many thanks to Anne Tingley for arranging this, and to Power Engineers for sponsoring it!!

Spouse/Guest Shuttle – On Tuesday, October 19, there will be a complimentary shuttle for a shopping excursion to either Kierland Commons or the Fashion Square Mall (tbd).  It will head there mid-morning, then return in the afternoon.  We must have a firm number for the shuttle.  If your spouse/guest is interested, please send an email to the ICC Chair, Rachel Mosier (r.mosier@pdc-cables.com).
