As announced at the last two ICC meetings, there will be a joint colloquium with CIGRE at the Fall ICC meeting at St. Petersburg Beach. This all-day colloquium will be held on Sunday, October 31 at the Don Cesar.
The major part of the colloquium will consist of prepared and spontaneous discussions that address selected topics related to underground transmission cables (i.e. 69 kV and above). The topics to be discussed will be divided into the three following categories.
Topics for discussion in the above areas are to be jointly selected by representatives of the ICC and CIGRE and will be sent to members of both organizations prior to the meeting at St. Pete. Consequently, the ICC is soliciting your input for candidate topics that you feel are of current interest. We are looking for general topics that will encourage discussion by a number of people attending the colloquium rather that very narrow, focused topics that are of interest to a small number of participants.
Please forward your suggestions for discussion topics to the following ICC members by June 21.
Your participation in selecting the special topics for discussion at the ICC/CIGRE Colloquium will help us to make sure that the topics will be of current interest to the largest number of ICC members possible.
