Attention Presenters: Guidelines for Presentation Material Published in PES – ICC Minutes

The theme of the Spring 2012 Educational Program will be "Accelerated Cable Aging Tests for Distribution and Transmission Cables - Part 2".  Abstracts of the presentations will be found here. (Updated 3/2/2012)

0.4 CEUs will be offered for this session.  You must register in order to receive CEUs.  (Please note, in order to receive these credits towards a Florida PE License, you MUST provide Thomas Arnold with your FL PE License number prior to the session.

 Online Registration will be available before the meeting.  A reminder e-mail will be sent out to all previous attendees when on-line registration opens.
Online Registration will be available at http://www.pesicc.org, and allows you the opportunity to both register, and to pay using a credit card. Please note that the use of credit cards is only available during the pre-registration period.

We encourage you to register on-line even if you do not plan to pay with a credit card. The option to register and mail a check or to pay on-site with cash or check is also available with on-line registration.
http://www.pesicc.org can be used by everyone, both members and guests, and will speed registration for everyone.  Pre-registration will save you time and hassle when you arrive, as your nametag will be ready and waiting for you.

Historical ICC Minutes Historical ICC Meeting Minutes DVD – For the first time ever, we are offering for sale a DVD containing the ICC Meeting Minutes from the very first meeting in 1947 through Spring 2008.  All of the minutes contained on this DVD are in Adobe Acrobat PDF format and are searchable either from within Acrobat Reader or using the Windows search engine.  The DVD is available for purchase during registration.
Mini-Expo The Fall meeting will feature a Mini-Expo for vendors to make table top displays of equipment and services related to the scope of the ICC. You can sign up for a table top display using the meeting Registration form. A list of exhibitors can be found here.  Guidelines on displays can be found here.
New Member Orientation First Meeting? Want to know more about the ICC? Please attend the Orientation Session on Sunday afternoon. There are many different sessions at ICC meetings and they cover a multitude of subjects related to insulated conductors. Information presented at Orientation will help you find the sessions that are of most interest to you.

Spouse Activities

Spouse/Guest Breakfast – As always, if your spouse or guest would like to be included in the daily breakfasts from 7:30 – 9:00 AM, please be sure to register them by selecting “Companion Registration” during the registration process.  (The cost is $50 and includes breakfast on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.)

From Sea-Tac Airport by Car:

Follow signs to 518 East/I-5 Northbound.  Exit right onto 518 East.  Exit from the left lane onto I-5 North. Continue on I-5 North for 14 miles.  Exit from the left lane at Seneca Street.  Right on Sixth Avenue.  Right on Pike Street.  Left on Eighth Avenue.  Left on Pine Street.  Our Seattle WA luxury hotel Porte Cochere will be immediately on the left. Approximate travel time 15 min. (If renting a car, make sure to see the information about parking under Hotel Information)

FROM SEA-TAC AIRPORT

Getting to the Grand Hyatt is now easier and greener than ever with the new Seattle Link Light rail train.  The train will take you directly from SEA TAC airport to the Westlake Light Rail station, a block from the Grand Hyatt.  Best of all, the cost is only $2.75 each way.  For more information:  http://www.soundtransit.org/Rider-Guide/Link-light-rail.xml Approximate travel time 40-50 min. (Note: Be aware that while completely covered, there is a short ~1/4 mile walk from the terminal to get to the light rail terminal at SEATAC.)
